The sad thing is that I could easily see this being the full forward line, the three buckos standing in a line waiting for the ball to be driven in on top of them.

Dowling I wouldn’t have as an automatic starter, Downes’ in particular I feel is limited outside of playing 11 or 14, but Hannon is staking a serious claim for full-forward at the moment. Nash definitely has a cut about him at corner-forward as a player that can win ball he hasn’t any right to and take his man on.

I don’t think GOM will cut it in the forwards either and we would be better off shuffling the deck-chairs at half-back to incorporate him at either 6 or 7.

I also get the feeling that we’ve also picked our full-back line for the year. God speed.
