Limerick GAA, Still Getting Knocked Down

He is a thoroughly alright sort and has none of the ego that a few others in the dressing room have. Heā€™s as safe as houses.

What was the penalty save like - good save or miss hit from the Dublin player?

Hard to know from listening on the radio mate but apparently it was poorly struck.

Awful strike. Completely agreed as nice as dodge. No media no profile nothing just gets on with his job and thatā€™s it.

Made an even better save in the first half going by Dublin City FM commentary.

Heā€™s a smashing hurler and Limerick man.

He went to his left and knocked the ball to the left of the goal, penalty was struck within relative easy reach of him.

He had some other great saves throughout the game.

Limerick had a goal scored within what seemed like only 2 minutes from then.

Lynch brings a great organization and coolness to the backs, very impressive. Sean O Brien and English did well.

Is it a coincidence that we were so good defensively on the day that hickey was out?

For a long period Morrissey was excellent I thought

Literally nothing went right for Mulcahy tonight, why he was left on so long I donā€™t know. Just wasnā€™t his night.

And James Ryan turned round and accidentally slapped the diving Dub. A yellow was perfectly fine. The supporters made a show of themselves with their booing. We got the next point and it was delicious.

That stroke on Wayne Mc was as clear a red as youā€™ll see.

And we still won.

He was given plenty of opportunities tonight but didnā€™t deliver.

Shouldnā€™t start the next day, especially if Hannon and Cian Lynch are 100% fit.

Great result, worth the trip over from Galway! A nice supermacs for the drive back the M6 aswell.

@dodgykeeper stay the fuck away from now on!.

On to the game and @Bandage was spot on re ronan lynch. He controlled the 1st half. Excellent reading of the game, distribution top class. Assured in possession. A brilliant debut. Diarmiud byrnes was also top class. Nicky Quaid is an example for every young hurler to aspire to. Does his fucking job and doesnt play to the media or cameras. He is 10 times the goalkeeper that cunt nash is. I wouldnt swap him for any goalkeeper in Ireland. The full back line is still a concern and wasnt overly convinced by wayne mac. I still think Hickey is worth his place regardless of what peoplw think of him. As for the forwards, nash impressed me most and should start come championship. Mulcahy position is now under threat, hasnt fired this year and give that there are now essentially only 5 forward positions available it is difficult to see she where he fits in. A good performance but still plenty to work on

What language is this supposed to be?

Just in the door a few minutes, a good win. Putting all the fucacktering thats been doing the rounds, we played well tonught especially the younger lads. Byrnes has to stay at 5 for the season. Nash was very good, his wirkrate is brilliant too. R lynch was very goos got on and resd alot of ball and protecked the fb line and gave richies that extra yard, english was e v good richie was very good too although was under pressure at times the dublin 15 (dillon?) was excellant. Seanie though got roasted and is not a corner back, he was v nearvous in the 1st half but did better after that. It could have gone anyway though we got the goal after quaids save which was a tense time in the game. Still no gameplan once we play the ball out of the backs (which we did well ) and getting our forwards on the ball in space. Waterford tho we will likely be playing will but much tougher our tempo needs to go up cause they are a serious side now

Just back in Kilfinane.

A good nights work. We needed that.
