Limerick GAA, Still Getting Knocked Down

By the same reasoning it was the injuries that killed us, weā€™d have gotten by without the kilmallock lads if it wasnā€™t for the injuries.

Suppose. I mean I know Kilkennys league wasnt great but it didnt seem to effect their championship.
After Saturday there is a real chance to bolster up practically every line of the team

Kilkenny ended up in a relegation final this year after being without three or four of their first choice players for this years league (admittedly some of the best players in the country). If it affects them then of course imagine what itā€™ll do to weaken everyone else.

Play the club AI off in the calendar year.

The league was missed opportunity with the Kilmallock lads gone we had the chance to blood new players but we didnā€™t. We went back to players we knew werenā€™t really good enough which is biggest failure of Tjs reign.

Would agree with that. So does anyone think that with the new backroom team, weā€™ll see a change of attitude?

I would say that it had to be a factor. The three lads werenā€™t as sharp as in the previous year. but that goes for whatever team gets an extended run.

Admit it you cunt, your lot cost Limerick the League and Championship double this year.

Well if there isnā€™t we are well and truly fucked. Richie Mc form isnā€™t as bad as we thought at the time but Hickey, P O Brien, Wayne Mc, T Condon are probably all going to need replacing in 2016 while we have to be able to get more out of Cian Lynch, Hannon, G Mul and Downes.

yeah, and with a bit of luck we will cost them another one next year.

ye will do well next year thats a good back room team

unreal he is

Cian Lynch needs to start well out the field to enable him to gather and create for those around him. Think Dave Breen, Declan Hannon and Downes really need to step up if they are to be considered. But then again Tj doesnt exactly have a reputation for change.
Some of the other Limerick forums are already writing next year off. Concerning to say the least

I wouldnā€™t start any of them.

+1 but I aint the manager.

Iā€™ll square it off with Clarkey. Let me know if there is anyone you know that deserves a run.

Does Tj have the balls to cull it though

Whats the story with Griffen from the intermediates?

He showed last year he has no balls. Gutless. He is totally out of his depth.

Regarding Hannon and Downes they need to prove they should be on the panel let along the team. I think Hannon has the more scope for improvement and to turn it around as the talent is there. Downes iā€™m sorry to say i donā€™t think heā€™s good enough for this level, just hasnā€™t cut it with Limerick.

Breen is worth his place on the panel, not sure about a starter but he has good attributes weā€™re missing for the most part but without having much hurling, obviously.

Iā€™d have more regard for the opinions of a bag of potatoes than the posters on the hoganstand forum and boards ie

Hannon and Downes have to be used correctly. Playing the standard 1-15 game and lumping high ball down on top will not work with these lads. Likewise graeme mul.

Good managers develop plans to suit the players available to them. Teege has not done that.
