Limerick GAA, Still Getting Knocked Down

He used the ball very well, he had a couple of brilliant balls to Dempsey in particular, one low ball that travelled about 30 yards and narrowly cut out a number of players was Xavi-esque.

They’ll be junior before they are premier.

They’ll be premier in two weeks time.

Was at Bruff v Senans in the intermediate football championship there. Decent game, Saints won 3-13 to 3-10.

They kicked the first four points of the game before Bruff took over to lead 3-03 to 0-04. Intercounty hurler Paul Browne scored one goal and set up another.

Senans were transformed on the resumption and banged in three goals in about ten minutes. James Naughton was very impressive. Plenty of needle in the second half but an enjoyable match.

In keeping with the professionalism of Limerick GAA they had a print out with both teams. The only problem was that the Bruff team provided was actually their hurling team which is in action this weekend.

Probably the same team anyway. Shure tis only football.

It doesn’t matter, he’s going no where. He is based on the wrong side of the county for hurling.

The sheepish clubs of Limerick have just written off 2016 by appointing the Politically Motivated Understudy and his management team.

Leo didn’t step down, he was told he had to go. Never mind all the bullshit you hear about sickness, he was given an ultimatum.

What was the ultimatum?

“Go or we’ll make you joint manager withTj”

Jesus it’s a wonder he didn’t jump out the window

Any result from the minor hurling semi tonight?

I don’t think it was played.

Na Piarsaigh 2-23 Kilmallock 3-18 (AET).

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Whatever you do don’t ask glasagusban

Yeah, pity. We were a bit unlucky apparently

You didn’t even know it was on!

Most of our team underage next year I reckon. Won the 16s last year.

I knew it was on. I’m stuck in dubland though.
