He cost them last years and cost them 09 when he was one on one with pj Ryan or whatever that Kilkenny keeper was called and placed it into the top corner instead of burying it. Hogan, power, Reid and eoin Larkin were all better than callanan. Shefflin obviously too.
How did he cost Tipp last years? If a few more lads played half as well as him we would have beat Galway by 10 points. It was one of the best performances youād ever see. In 09 Ryan pulled out an outstanding save to stop that shot, you canāt blame losing a game on one moment far from the end of the game.
In your post you were talking about at the present time 4 Kilkenny forwards were better than, at the moment there is probably 1 better than him. Not many players have had as good a last two years as Callanan

Noel McGrath has been lucky to start for Tipp for about the last 4 years, mental comparison. Eoin Kelly was obviously better yes. Eoin Kelly also ābottledā, as you put it a shot even worse in 09. Not scoring a penalty after being knocked on your head and dazed is not bottling it. Anyone who watched the Galway-Tipp match last year and thought Callanan bottled it is a lost cause though in fairness. He very nearly won the game by himself
Kelly carried tipp on his own for many years. A sensational hurler. Always stood up until he met Damien Reale of course.

the lads that think seamus callanan is the best forward in the country are the same lads that think The gooch is the best footballer in country. Heās very good too but not top class. Thereās a massive question mark over his mental toughness.
