He said something along the lines of “if there was one more minute Limerick could have nicked it” apparently. Also praised some of “limericks leaders for stepping today like seamus hickey.” Was he on the Sunday game?

Incorrect. An example of how attracting lads with money like sheedy or Daly works is what went on in adare last year with daly. Money was ponied up for him to take over but when the county board flashed the cash and told him he couldn’t do both he choose Limerick. Then the adare backers decided they weren’t going to back a local man with the same offer so they pulled their money. Everyone adare asked wanted the Same deal as daly so they were left with no manager for a couple of months begging lads to take over.
