Limerick GAA - We get knocked down šŸ

Is Tobin the smallest centre forward in the history of Limerick hurling?

Couldnā€™t be worse than the tall lads anyway.

Iā€™m more confident than ever.

cork are poor & therefore clare will win. the Dubs will prob win the other one. Dat Limerick team wouldnt fill you with confidence. If it was in Croker it would be a certainty. But Dubs have to prove they can win in Thurles

Tobin is not CF for this weekend. Hannon is.

Is this the team?

That Elvis fella :rage:

If Keaney lines up at 14 Richie will be laughing.

That half forward line will not win enough ball on the big days, might do enough against Dublin. Shame to deny ourselves Dowling inside but it also seems to be Downes best position.

That is a fairly immobile midfield for a pitch like Thurles. Limerick should really look to put Dowling to 14 on top of Oā€™Callaghan who is as raw an I/C hurler as I have seen this year. He is game out but would struggle bit time with Dowlingā€™s strength in the air

Dowling at 14 means we canā€™t play a two man full forward line with him.

FFS Iā€™d fancy my chances against a few of them myself. Limerick by 10.

Dowling was very effective at 12 the last day.

I think the team is better with him at 12 and Downes at 14.

Could be a break out game for KD

I presume Dowling/Hannon/Lynch will rotate.

Hannon could give Rushe the run of the place if he has another one of those days.

Rushe will have the freedom of Semple if Hannon is cf

Iā€™d say Downes and Graeme will be the two man full forward line.

indeed. is there a more gentrified name in hurling than lyndon fairbrother?
coming from the club named after the man who proposed the ban on RIC men in the GAA no less.
presumably his great-grandfather kept the head down.

why drop alan nolan when youā€™ve already got a raw fullback?
if jimbob and browne canā€™t get on top of that midfield we might as well draw a line in the sand and go the derek mcgrath route
(thereā€™ll be plenty of time for the fantasy squad selection when the nights draw in)
thought morrissey would make it somewhere - what was the point of tobin at CF and morrissey at CB against westmeath?
the kilmallock contingent would want to find a bit of form before the season is over.

Harsh on Gavin.
