Limerick GAA - We get knocked down šŸ

JK is buried in Tandardstown, Kilmallock.

Maybe there is some useless cunt from Na Piarsaigh that could do a better job?

Brendan was the ultimate fantasistā€¦how Winston wud have reacted if he knew who his father was!!!

might the dubs move Dwyer to fullforward ?

in '11 the Cashel boy scored 3-2ā€¦and that was a better back line

From what I hear, im expecting a big fighting performance from Limerick this Saturday. Westmeath was viewed as an obstacle to get over, thus the lacklustre display.

Where has the loyalty gone from you Limerick boys on here? Doubting our lads every which way. Yes, we got a tanking from Tipp. And our boys are hurting from it. There was little point in taking it out on Westmeath. Saturday at 5pm is the time for that.

Irrational and unfounded optimism has returned. Limerick by 5. This is your call to arms boys!!

Very likely I fear

Ah FFSā€¦ I have seen him play a number of games for his Clubā€¦ Even before '13ā€¦ Never seen him stand out at club level. Has a great touch and lovely skill but doesnā€™t seem to get into games , with the exception of KK last year.

We are going to batter the fuck out of em.

@rocko trying to catch up with 2 days worth of posts is a disaster, donā€™t know who is replying to whatā€¦ I donā€™t even think the cunts replying know.

Agree. Made this point weeks ago but pagination is a dirty word around here these days.

Heā€™s been frustrating this year but to say he never stands out at club level is bollox.

Everyoneā€™s entitled to their opinion Glasā€¦ I have been at matches where he was anonymousā€¦

Okā€¦

There has to be a kick in us at some point. This year is on the verge of being written off as a disaster otherwise. Arsed around during the league, stumbled over a depleted Clare, annihilated by Tipperary and snuck out of Mullingar having delivered the bare necessities.

Tomorrow will define the season. It is most certainly a game we can win but, equally, itā€™s one we could lose heavily if the mindset and application are wrong.

Thereā€™s little else that can be done in terms of personnel. What we have is what we have and itā€™s been enough to have us competitive for the last couple of years. Is it enough to go further? - I have my doubts. All that will carry us through tomorrow is back-to-basics Limerick hurling. Whack it in high and early may well be the order of the day as I think that Dublin full-back line may be vulnerable. The Dubs have taken a chance at midfield too, going for a like-for-like pairing to match Jimbob and Browne.

Cunningham doesnā€™t seem to have clicked with this group of Dublin hurlers at all but the walkout of Michael Carton and the slating from Humphrey Kelleher could well have a galvanising effect, however, pound-for-pound we have better players and that must be capitalised upon.

A lot of talk locally about a sweeper - I donā€™t buy it. Play 15-man hurling and spread out your inside line to negate the opposition version. Quicker ball into our forwards is vital. Above anything else, the consistent failure to do this has been the most disappointing aspect of our season to date. We HAVE forwards who can win their own ball - just get it into them fast.

The longer the week has gone on, the more optimistic Iā€™m starting to feel. There are a few teams we wouldnā€™t beat tomorrow in our current state. Dublin arenā€™t one of them though.

What part of West Limerick was that?

Iā€™ll give you a clue.
We donā€™t get on with them in hurling :pint:
