Limerick GAA - We get knocked down šŸ
As far as I know, the refereeā€™s report is the final arbiter on matters of fact during a game and, if a referee realises an error was made, heā€™s quite entitled to correct it before he submits his report.

In fairness to Paddy Lyons last night, he copped it straight away and it was less than two or three minutes before it was confirmed that the game was a draw. The scoreboard operator made a total balls of it and it could have put the ref in a very precarious position. Usually, a ref would have one of his umpires keeping score also, and I believe this was the case last night so it was easy enough to rectify.
Iā€™m being pedantic but it was more than two or three minutes.

@ciarancareyshurlingarmy, we won junior in 1990 so Quigley could have one from then, but I was told he needed this one to complete the set.

That ape being paid to do the scoreboard is from Na Piarsaigh and Iā€™d imagine heā€™ll be getting his P45 after his third fuck-up this year. Adare v Kilmallock was the first and last week he was more interested in watching the row between Kevin Downes and Liam Walsh to notice that Graeme Mulcahy had scored a point that he failed to record.

I donā€™t know who was doing it, but the lad from Na Piarsaigh who normally does it was togged out. Perhaps there was a novice onboard.

Anyone hear of trouble in the Ballylanders camp before Sundayā€¦Thinking of having a nice bet on The Nireā€¦Heard a rumour that some players may have taken offence to Ephie jumping ship to clare next year and pulled out of the squad!!!

Who is Ephie and why is he jumping to Clare ?

Ephie Fitzgeraldā€¦He like many others has served his time as a coach in the hotbed that is the Limerick Senior football championship. His success in the toughest of club championships with a team of also rans in Ballylanders has seen him rewarded with the tough job of coaching clare to stay in Division 3 of the football league.

The nire will win that game. I have a good few contacts on their side.

Where is it on ?

Kilmallock on sunday

The Nire could be odds against in that caseā€¦

I will wait to see what @TreatyStones has to say about this.

Is the Sarsfields v Kilmallock game this weekend also?

@balbec What is the status of the two players Kilmallock had sent off in the county final, are they both out of the Sars game?

Nire already 8/11 to win

Kilmallock 5/4 looks better value

Will be putting both in an accum the weekend.Hope Kilmallock go far!

Kilteely, feohanagh (if back full strength) and Monaleen will win the upcoming limerick finals but hard to get a price

Itā€™s on the 9th. Liam walsh got a straight red so he is definitely out. Not sure about Oā€™loughlin and his two yellows.

Is the game on tv sunday

Yup, 9.25pm pal. You shouting for the Patriots or Broncos?

Oā€™Loughlin not suspended.

Hurling a real game is it?

What would you know about it, youā€™ll be off watching rugby.
