Limerick GAA - We get knocked down 🐐

Hard to say really, without exaggerating every Na P player was good and better than their counterpart on the day. Lynch showed plenty moments of his class without reaching his best, he didn’t have to. Casey scored a rake of points from play, again at his ease, taken off with with 20 to go. Conor Boylan was impressive. The Na P 11, whose name I don’t know, also a peter I think, was the most impressive player for me.

Agreed. But it wasn’t one of the county players (I think) and it’s my first time seeing the minors this year and there was no programme. What can you do. I’m worse than @ChocolateMice at this stage.

He could have asked someone but was held back in doing so because (a) he wasn’t at the game and (b) even if he was no one would talk to the tiresome cunt.

@glasagusban has mugged himself off good & proper. Unreal, even unbelievable.

Talking from experience are you?

Maybe he has a special TG4 link to watch Minor games like Kev has with Meath Minor footballers?

Of the tiresome cunt? Yes, I’ve read more than one of his posts and I can confirm from experience that he is a tiresome cunt.

Please Har, if I had I’d probably have known the name.

Good point.

A rare case of a Limerick team getting up again. As an aside Tommy Lannons performance that day for Kilkenny was extraordinary.

am I imagining it or were minors bigger bucks back then? Frank Murphy was busy refereeing back then I see. I take it that it was Frankie from Cork. He must have been busy that day. Cork were in the senior final after

Don’t know if its a trick of the eye or something but they look noticeably taller, and older (the latter part I think is because of the lack of helmets though).

Tommy was a good one no doubt. But even in that match his left knee was heavily bandaged and it never came right after. You’ll be glad to hear some of the next generation on Lennon’s are on the way with several playing on the winning Bennettsbridge minor and junior teams of recent years. Also some Cleere’s and Moran’s on the team sheets. They play the Leinster junior final this Sunday in Tullamore I believe.

Munster GAA Post Primary Schools Dr. Harty Cup Results:
West Limerick Colleges 6-11
Blackwater CBS 1-14

Castletroy College 2-9
St Colmans 0-13

Doon 1-13
North Mon 1-15

That loss sees Doon bow out.

Flannans need to beat Ard Scoil RĂs next Monday for West Limerick to qualify, unlikely to happen.
