Looks like heâs after wearing a hurley off himâŠ
My information is that a patrickswell lad is throwing the dig on a na piarsaigh lad.
The 'Well were never shy in dishing out the timber, in fairness.
Soft townie NAP fuckers.
Good to see the natural order being restoredâŠ
Kevin Downes is out until the 1/4 final stage of the league at least.
Spotted him hobbling around alright.
In another blow to Limerick Hurling, i spotted lapsed poster and moral compass of Limerick GAA SLR on crutches in Kilmallock last Saturday
Saw that in the leader, said him and Tobin due back early March, whatâs the injury? Breen also out for a month or so. Only 21 players currently available.

Are you not a club-mate of Downes? You should be telling everyone what the injury is you blow-hard, not asking what it is.

True. Iâm in dublin and donât really need to be texting to find out.
@JeromeSport: Two changes to Limerick team from Waterford game. Stephen Walsh for Tom Condon at No2 & Donal OGrady at No6 indirectly replacing David Breen
Not sure what the actual 1-15 line up is though.

From boards:
We lead UCC 0-10 to 0-7 at the break.
A bit of experimentation in terms of positioning of key players:
Quaid
Walsh Richie Mc Hickey
Wayne Dodge Morrissey
Allis King
Moran Jim-Bob Lynch
OâBrien Begley A. Breen
Bench- Dowling, Browne, Fitzgibbon, Tom Morrissey, Condon, Ryan
If they are seriously looking at Wayne as a wing-back, Dodge as a centre-back, Allis at midfield; Iâd be happy enough. Jim-Bob can do a good job at centre-forward but we need him at midfield come Championship. Bit of a pity that King didnât get a go at corner-back or Condon/Hickey at centre-back. Tom Morrissey does seem to be behind some of the others at this stage.
UCC team:
Wallis
Burke Glynn Breen
Murphy Burke Roche
Roche OâShea
Collins Lawton Devine
Spillane Foran Cadogan
Some very talented players there; Cadogan, Tadhg de BĂșrca and Spillane foremost among them but some of the biggest guns were held back- Prendergast, OâDonnell, Lehane, Barron; so itâs a game we should be winning.

Limerick by two for a finish but it was a very close finish. Cork next week, probably in Mallow.
Ucc started lehane, prendergast, barron, Oâdonnell etc and were full strength.
Limerick drove a lot of wides, probably 15+ with 5 from Niall Moran.
Cian lynch and dodge were excellent. Lehane wiped Wayne and he was hooked at half time. The rest of the backs were ok but Allis and king did not cut it at midfield. It needed brownie on and jimbob back to the middle to secure the win.
Cian will be a very bright star. He is a wonderful talent.
Just back from Kilmallock.
Limerick 0-22 UCC 1-17
Enjoyable game but without ever having huge intensity. A lot of changes on the UCC team that started from the team named above that was in the programme. Lehane started and was the best player on the pitch, he wreaked havoc from wing forward. He was withdrawn (rested) midway through the second half, along with Shane OâDonnell, and if he had been kept on they may have won. Paudie Prendergast at centre back was impressive for the students.
Thought King did ok in fairness at midfield although Browne steadied the ship when introduced. Patchy enough display, a load of wides as said above. Adrian Breen got 0-03 from play, 2 at the start and one at the end. Would agree that Dodge and Lynch were our two standout performers. It looked like neither side wanted extra time and were happy to have a result either way at the end of normal time.
Cheers to @Gary Birtles Lovechild for kindly giving me a lift to the match.

An attendance of only 645 and at least 4 forumites present, including myself. How is it that we didnât meet?
Or did we?

A few hot whiskey later to chase off the man flu.
This is the year that Limerick hurlers need to give a statement of intent and win all the competitions they are involved in.
Waterford crystal cup, division 1b, Munster championship, All Ireland championship

There was a friendly auld codger beside me. When Wayne Mac lined up Cadogan and buckled him in the first half with a venomous shoulder, that earned a fully deserved yellow card, the elderly chap just sighed âah you need an invite to tackle someone these daysâ
