Congratulations, we won an AI in 13 but didnât win a game last year. Consistent mediocre teams wonât win all Ireland championships.
Cian Lynch is also unbelievably overrated at this juncture.

Iâll be holding on to this one for the future. This reminds me of the Clare lads slating of Dowling last spring before he went out and won an All-Star with superb displays all summer. The mugging off dished out to those doubters was epic.
Cian Lynch has a lot to learn and very possibly might not start in Cship for Limerick this year. Limk fans on here who have seen him so far this year have simply commented how impressive he has been. Anyone that doubts his potential at this stage is clueless.
And saying Limerick have no basis for All Ireland Titles is rubbish. Any team would have those aspirations after being beaten by AI Champions for 2 years in a row at Semi stage, two Munster Finals and good Minor & Harty teams coming through. You would want to be a fucking fool not to have AI ambitions in that context.

What has he done in any meaningful game? He had rings run around him last June in the GG by Enright and Galvin.
No doubt he has potential, I have seen him play more times than you might think but half of ye jizz your pants when he scores a point.
Limerick donât have a game changer in the forwards, no team has won an AI without one this century.

Mate, clare are fucked and will do nothing this year.
Not much
I agree on Lynch. He has a hell of a lot to do yet. 21s this year should be the real measure of him, think Itâs too early for him on the senior front⌠But, summer hurling will suit him more.
We will go down swinging
Money
Whatâs that, Joe?
Agreed.
Not clare??
As in Keys in a bowl???
not a hope.
better than gleeson?
When played further out he has been out of position. While very solid last year he has a propensity to do the odd mad thing and as such would like to see him given a chance at halfback, where he could be a bit further from goal. He has fantastic overall ability and is wasted in the corner IMO.
Yes. Just a brilliant hurler. Gleeson is class too though.
If Waterford keep this team together they will be very competitive for the next 5-6 years. I donât know how they were so shit at under 21 last year.
He was practically flawless last year. The year before too. I think he has suffered from a bit of a broken up career, missing the league a few times through injury or being abroad and has played a rake of positions as a result.
