Gtiffin got plenty of chances with Limerick Minor, U21 and Intermediate teams and unfortunately never really made the grade. Too small at the end of the day in my opinion. Excellent for his club* but not good enough for Limerick Seniors. Probably better than his clubmate Fitzgibbon though.
*Adare are not his actual club. You only have one club, his is Kildimo.
Jack Aherne is a very talented player if, again, a little on the light side. If im not mistaken is he not U21 this year still?

If the footballers could somehow dig out a win then they’d look to have a fighting chance of staying up with 4 points.
Hurlers might just about have enough to eek out a win but wouldn’t be overly bullish.
No surprise there, the footballers are viewed as a hindrance by the county board and nothing else. You’d honestly wonder why the likes of Seanie Buckley bother when their own CB don’t really give a damn about them.
