He was part of Pillar Caffreyās crew, one of the most disliked teams in the history of the GAA. Pointing to the scoreboard when they were hammering teams etc. Keaney himself is find of dishing out the verbals to his opponents from what Iāve heardā¦
Jesus christ, youāre better than this surely? Verbals, pointing at a scoreboard etc is previous for walking on someones back?
This is awful bollocksology from the lads here. Either throw up worthwhile evidence gtfo.
That is shocking by the Dublin player.
In my opinion it is obvious that he raises his stamping leg upwards and with power downwards on the spine of the Limerick player.
heās raised his foot up in an effort to clear the player on the groundā¦unfortunately he didnāt make itā¦unfortunate reallyā¦looks a lot worse than it isā¦
Donāt mention it, pal. Another example of an incident where the players get on with it but an assortment of chaps online are seething in the aftermath.
It looked to me like he caught that leg on lynchās. it certainly isnāt a clearcut deliberate stamp, and Iād give him the benefit of the considerable doubt there.
My comment on āformā from Keaney is based on a few different anecdotes Iāve heard about him on and off the pitch, a complete scumbag from what Iāve heard. Maybe someone closer to dublin hurling can confirm or deny, @Bisto, @TheUlteriorMotive?
.
far from a scumbag ā¦that wouldnāt be his styleā¦heās old skoolā¦has had some nasty incidents with the O Carroll brothers in club games over last few yearsā¦ play ball heāll play ball, act the cunt and heāll do youā¦a manās manā¦ like I said that limerick incident wouldnāt be his styleā¦
Id give Keaney the benefit of the doubt. If it was a windy prick like Niall Moran who has previous for sly filthy belts on young lads I would be calling for a lifetime ban.
Just that lad from Patrickswell got for his trampish actions in a challenge match against Sixmilebridge recently
This is a horrific incident.
by limerick beaten in croke park standards it isā¦if he done it in thomond park youād all be saying he has the heart of lionā¦
I think it is debatable so you probably have to give Keaney benefit of the doubt
Did he apologise immediately or did he apologise at all? If it was an accident usually a lad will apologise right there.
He issued a press statement but there was no apology. He expressed no remorse.
Iāve looked at it a few times and, while thereās no doubt he makes contact with Lynchās neck, I canāt say itās deliberate.
Itās hard to see where else he could have come down. He was in the air so avoiding him by passing him out wasnāt an option. Possibly he could have brought his foot down to the side of Lynch but Iām not convinced. Cian or the other players didnāt make anything of it either.
