Counties like Waterford and Wexford have to rely on a couple of bob thrown their way by hardworking middle class types like @Bandage or pensioners like @Fagan_ODowd. It’s not really a level playing field.
In fact you’d have to wonder if JP isn’t actually getting a very poor return for his money, with just the one (1) AI in forty six (46) years despite the tens of millions (10s of 1,000,000s) he has sunk into them at this stage. But I suppose he’s the same with the auld horses.
Predicting a Waterford win doesn’t make you seething. I doubt anyone from Borrisoleigh gives a fuck about Limerick

That’s harsh, but fair.
Limerick’s superior strength and conditioning took over after the water break in the second half of the Munster Final. As @maroonandwhite would tell you that’s the stage in the game when the benefits of all that financing kicks in.
Sunday is providing a welcome distraction for the GAA community in Waterford from real life harsh financial realities.

It’s somewhat reminiscent of the Miracle on Ice in Lake Placid back in 1980, when a handful of plucky college students took on the might of the Soviet Union and triumphed against the odds. One could only hope for a similar outcome on Sunday.
