Very welcome news. Sisk are building the Opera Centre in the city and that project is currently on schedule and within budget. I was a little worried when those jokers BAM applied for the tender.

Sorensen were involved in the effort at Beary’s Cross. A straight forward enough roundabout, was relatively quick by Irish standards.
Sisk are doing the bridge in Killaloe and associated works either side. It’s taking a fair while from what I hear, the roadworks are pretty heavy still. Wouldn’t be confident in their ability to run a big project.

Sisk delivered the Dunkettle Interchange in Cork on time and within budget.
Sisk have a good record with large projects. Bam are a cluster fuck

A big project? Sisk are a huge company who can take on any project.Theyre not some subbie with 6 lads working for them.
The likes of BAM should never be allowed do another job in this country again

Without going through Cork?
It will be a game changer for me once it’s finished.
Adare will become a great place to live as well. I’d say the place will take off altogether, that’s only downside to it at the minute. That and the place is wall to wall cunts.

There’s a way via @dodgy_keeper’s house. Bad road but better than sitting in traffic, brings you out in Newcastle West so you don’t skip that.
You can also go the coast road depending on where in Kerry you are aiming for
Yes…from Dublin for eg just go cork route instead of limerick and exit at mitchelstown and go via mallow …prob 20 mins longer with no traffic on either route…will be no back logs anywhere on that road though until Killarney at least

There’s running a project and there’s running a project well. The bar is low in Ireland in that regard, particularly when it comes to delays, in my opinion.
Sisk have a good reputation for quality, in fairness.
Even from limerick you could head to charleville via croom and cross country

New road to be built to cut out traffic in Limerick.
