Browne is an qaverage stick man but his instinct is to carry the ball which is grand but can make it harder for forwards .
Let’s dig into the fucks or are too fast and skill we don’t need a dog fight they do
I’ve two dogs now Joe.
It wouldn’t matter what combination of the panel he put out we’re still going to win it. I’m very pleased with that team.
You are spot on kid .
Do you ever talk about hurling
Off the cuff, Limerick hurling will always bate those gomis across the river.
35-18 at the moment in Limericks favour.
Limerick have put out at a team to win. That Clare team would be stone cold useless on a silage pit. Soft.
Young lads a poorish limerick team
Very underwhelming Limerick team.
So dependant on Dowling up front. Clare by 8.
Limerick 5/2 on Bet365.
I’ll have to get my bets at shorter prices voided to get on at 5/2 !
No nasher Should only add value to my Nash for young hurler of the year bet though when I place it. Obviously we’ve no idea what’s happening in training buts it’s bizarre to me to start mulcahy over Nash. We’ve tried mulcahy over and over and, while he absolutely doesn’t get anywhere near the right ball, at some point you just have to call a halt.
Very small forwards all told
No forward can operate consistently without the right ball. That’s why the halfback line has been and always will be the key line in hurling. It wins most AIs.
I heard John Kiely found 3 cans of tuborg in Nash gear bag the other night he was planning on skulling before he went to the hurlers. They are trying to keep it quiet. Limerick by 11
You’d swear they had something to hide.
Injured players
Dowling can’t go far he might not be on
Don’t understand this call either. Maybe Mulcahy is tearing it up in training and Nash isn’t, rest of the team seems to be picked on form. Nash brings something completely different to the forwards though and would have expected him to be more effective than Mulcahy against Clare. We’ll see.
I suppose if the game is still there to be won after 50 odd minutes it’s better to have Nash to come in rather than Mulcahy.
I’d guess that, given you have two very inexperienced debutants starting in the full forward line, they’ve gone for Mulcahy to bring a bit of experience to it.
