Maybe you should watch division 2 hurling seen as ye will be there next year and ye might want to learn how to beat Wexford while ye are at it.

How has it worked out for ye? Is it hard to get promoted up out of it??

We were as bad last year if not worse in the league and didn’t do too bad in championship. Our focus is Championship which is why we beat Wexford by 24 points last year where as ye failed to beat them twice ? Ye flooked an all Ireland in 2013 and all of a sudden ye think ye are Kilkenny.

Clare have Davy and their infighting to blame for the fact they will be in the second division next year.

O’Donovan will be corner back. Browne played wing back both days against Kilkenny and did fine, is better suited to it that corner at present as he is very good at competing for the ball on the ground and attacks the breaks but struggles when isolated in the corner when his man has possession.

What’s he like in the air? If we put Breen on him, he might win a few frees if he does manage to get it into his hand. Downes could do the same, I suppose.

Breen is such a frustrating player, great to go on a run but his use of the ball and shot selection can be very poor.

Was just looking at odds for young player of the year on Paddy Power and they have Ronan Lynch at 20/1. Do ye think he will be brought into the team after the leaving or do ye think TJ should wait til next year. Also I think Barry Nash is a very good Hurler and is also worthy of a call up

They might be brought in after the Leaving; after all, Declan Hannon was but we are better now than we were then and I imagine it would be fairly hard to break into the starting team at that stage. Could be a useful sub. I think Ronan Lynch is the only one that is even slightly likely though and I wouldn’t put money on him being HotY anyway; Cian Lynch possibly.

Ya Cian Lynch is 12/1 wouldn’t be a bad bet. Anyway I think Tj would be better leaving them off until next year but then again if they are good enough they are old enough so we will see.

Well said, great hurler with bags of potential bringing him in after the leaving would do him no harm.
