Spillane will pick up Flanagan from the start. I’d have thought Cahalane on Gillane and O’Donoghue on Mulcahy but my mate from Cork who knows his stuff and is usually on the ball, says the other way around. If Cahalane is on Mulcahy he’ll get skinned for pace if we can put the ball in front of Mul.

I still have fear about not starting Casey, we’ve been putting up decent scores but leaving an awful lot behind us as well. Of the four semi finalists our set of forwards are probably the least threatening in terms of scoring power. At the start of the year I’d have said Casey was our best forward, he looks up to speed now. I don’t think we’re that good that we can afford to leave a player of his standard on the bench.

Spillane will mark Graeme and cahalane will follow Flanagan. It would be totally mental from cork to have Spillane follow Flanagan that would be the dream for limerick. Seamus would take him for a tour out to midfield. If cahalane and o Donahue are inside on their own on Graeme and Gillane limerick will win well.
