Good man for the heads up!
Have you a cousin posting here by the name of @Joe Player by any chance? The standard of posting is very similar.
Got the stand tickets today for myself and the kids.
Itās going to be a great day on Sunday and thankfully the stands will be almost totally free from the Wexican riff raff.
Unchanged team. Iām uneasy about that as it looked to me after Cork that we seriously needed a few changes, and it shows a lack of faith in what we have on the bench. But fuck it Iām not seeing them in training so hopefully weāll see a major reaction out of four or five players come Sunday.
Expect changes to that lineup come 2pm Sunday.
Rumours of that are doing the rounds alright, Iād be willing to give Hannon & OāMahony the benefit of the doubt tbh. Who or what would you change the bench isnāt exactly the strongest.
The team isnāt going to line out like that but Iād expect that 15 to start.

Thatās not what I heard pal. From a very reliable source too.
Wouldnāt have TJ down as a dummy team naming manager but anything is possible. Have heard rumours of an injury to a definite starter in the forwards which theyāre hoping will be ok for Sunday. Other then that the only obvious replacement for me would be Ryan in for OāMahony.
One change up front and one at the back, they donāt want to but their hand is being forced. Theyād prefer to remain unchanged.
One thing is for certain, if we donāt bate Wexford TJ has to be changed. But for now I have full confidence in the man.
after watching wexford last week I thought theyād winā¦but in the cold light of day Iāve come to my sensesā¦limerick will beat themā¦thank god iām out of the country next week
Everything you post on the 5 months either side of race week should be taken with a pinch of salt
Iāll be going to the game to support wexford but will be lumping on Limerick -2 at evens.
I think this Sunday could be a day where we lay down our marker for the rest of the year.
I expect a very big performance from us, we have a lot we need to improve on, but I think the main thing we need to get right is the delivery into the full forward line. Too much of our ball into the full forward line is hit and hope. The last day 3 or 4 balls were lumped into Dowling with the sun in his eyes. Too much of the ball Mulcahy and Downes won was too far from the scoring zone. If we can get that ball right we could put up a big score.
At the same time if we donāt play to our full potential Wexford are fully capable of beating us. We will need to raise the intensity about 10 notches from the Cork game, because if we let Wexford deliver nice ball into McGovern and McDonald they will cause serious bother to our full back line, but if we can get into their faces and maintain it for an extended period then I donāt think they will live with us.
they will definitely live with you, donāt get that wrong. wexford have absolutely no reason to fear limerick, and I know they fully expect to beat them.
Thats where it will go wrong, Limerick are really good at keeping the score board moving, even against clare last year they scored 1-17. Waterford didnāt have that capability. Theyāll snare 2-19 v Wexford and it will see them home I think
Aboy the kid
Limerick will win this but it will be close. I predict a win between 3-5 points. I feel we could see a huge game from Downes and Mulcahy. I really hope Dec Hannon can find some form too, it just hasnāt ran for him this year bar a few flashes of brilliance. I feel we could have one change with Tom Ryan in for Gavin. Thats word on the street anyway.
The consequences of a Limerick defeat this weekend just donāt bear thinking about and im sure the players will be ready to burst through the walls to get at Wexford.Limerick by 5 plus if they get the forwards firing.Oh and for what itās worth i reckon Cork will batter Sligo in the football in Tullamore on saturday much to the chagrin of the people in the county who will be hoping they lose to free up the dual players for the hurlers!
Wexford by 3.
