Limerick v Wexford- The Game to Break the Board

No medals are dished out for bursting through walls.

Some of the Limerick lads appear a bit delusional. They won an easy Munster last year where Horgans sending off handed them the game. They were found out against Clare. They again beat an awful Tipp team who’ve only found their feet after that game. Cork turned them over this year without reaching 3rd gear.

We’re still in development mode but regardless of the result this season will be a massive success. Its nice to see so many people writing us off on here as that’s what we love. The players will feel they can beat anyone and will relish a tight battle. Unfortunately they’re unlikely to get that on Sunday and might have to wait for a semi final. I expect Limerick to come flying out at us early but their challenge will be over by half time. The second half will be a procession for us.

Wexford by 6.

Both sets of supporters appear very confident. Should make for a cracking atmosphere.

Either I’m still drunk or you are.

he forgot to change usernames

No shit.

At least you didn’t.

How so? Sure the Wexford lads can’t get any tickets.

Right then call it.

Wexford 3-18
Limerick 1-20

Liam Og with two goals. One Limerick defender to get sent off for two yellows.

Which one?

This game could be a goal fest. Wexford have been banging them in and creating an unbelieveable amount of goal chances, and Limerick’s full forward line is threatening to cut loose, if they do we’ll win.

I wouldn’t say we’ve been threatening to cut loose. We’ve created very few clear goal chances in the two games so far. More like we have the potential to cut loose but certainly haven’t threatened it yet.

Wexford 2-24
Limerick 1-19

Dowling threatened goal a few times last game. As far as I can see Mulcahy and Downes are in super form, they both had the beating of Corks corners backs last game, but they’ve had to come looking for the ball and aren’t getting any decent delivery -IMO if they start getting the ball early and often they’ll goal.

Limerick 2-21
Wexford 1-16

Dowling will have to get out of Liam Ryans pocket for Limerick to have a chance. This game will catapult Ryan to the forefront of the YPOTY market.

Ryan must have big pockets
