Limerick v Wexford- The Game to Break the Board
That all you got?

:D:D:D
There’s not much more to say. We lost by 48 points.

Fair enough so.

Crappy Boy, on the other hand, might make a list.

A new low to add to the abomination that was last week’s list.

Paudi for the Wexford goal :rolleyes::rolleyes:

The two Wexford boys Gman and Pikeman rated this post old but by jaysus i was right in the end!

Poor alright but Condon was more responsible for turning it over out the field.

You were not the only one to predict this. If you cant bate 13 men by 20 points you are nothing. Wexford are pure useless

Where does that leave Clare?

Hung over and exhausted from all the drinking and riding they did after last season.

Congratulations to Limerick. I sincerely hope ye go on to win the All Ireland, what you lot have put up with borders on the masochistic, you’re a proud hurling county and you deserve it.

For Wexford, I think we’ll just forget about yesterday and concentrate on the positives from this year, still the U21’s to go. Onwards, Wexford abu.

A lot of people are saying that Wexford were too tired after the two Clare games, the blaa game and the u21 game. What are your thoughts on that?Personally myself i just think Wexford ran into a far superior team.I expected Limerick to win but not by 24 points with 16 wides thrown in!

The run of 3 points just before half time to bring it back to 7-8 gave some encouragement but whatever enthusiasm there might have been was drained out by Dowling’s 2 goals. Half of them looked like they didn’t want to be on the pitch for the 2nd half.

For a game which was played at a fairly high intensity for the opening half there was surprisingly few frees.
I’d say we only had 2 in the first half and Wexford another 2?

I thought it was fairly slow to be honest. Really poor marking, from Wexford particularly, and more often than not players were just left free. Rare that there was any tackling as a result.

Who was the Limerick lad who tried to run through Rossiter late in the 2nd half only for him to bounce off Rossi and look like a fool?

+1

This was highlighted by the amount of shots Limerick were able to take and the ease that they were running through us.

We left the full back line out to dry. Our half forward line lost every important battle and allowed their markers time to pick out passes.

I though the only Wexford players to emerge with credibility were Ryan, O’Keeffe and McDonald (when he went deep looking for the ball that wasn’t being put in to him).

I thought we put ye under fierce pressure (maybe not the same as intestity) before we killed off the game. The first 3 balls Wexford tried to bring out our forwards closed them down and turned over / broke the ball.

I think it was Hannon? Moran gave a hospital ball out to him and he got turned upside down, I don’t think he tried to run through him, he was stooped to pick up the ball and Rossiter hit him a belt of a shoulder, I think that finished Declan’s game too as he was after being split earlier on.

Wayne Mac, on the other hand, turned a fella clean upside down in the first half trying to run through the middle

was that when Podge Doran fell into his knee?

no, I think it was one of the handier sized fellas, Morris missed the resulting free.

Podge should have buried that chance he had. He done fuck all else.
