Liveline thread
The housewives of Ireland were tearing into each other at the end there over the Clare-Cork replay being fixed for a Saturday at 5:00.

The GAA will have blood on their hands if anybody crashes on the way home, you’d have to say.
Was Joe back today?

Yes.

I should have known when you said the Women were on giving out.

Enda getting a kicking from every angle today. Quality stuff.

Surely not the Auld ones love Bosco Kenny.

Tommy from Glin making excellent points

Incredibly poignant scenes* on yesterday’s programme as a Ballyfermot pensioner cried live on air after her dog was killed on the Luas.

*Whatever the radio equivalent of a scene is.

Joe loosing the head with Paddypower because they are taking bets on the outcome of the Pistorius trial.

Joe giving free publicity to Paddy Power, whatever next?

The ‘mischief makers’ strike again

“Its terrible Joe, SKY Sports is nearly 12oo quid a year, if you want the movies too yknow”

Declan in Carlow doesn’t have SKY Sports and doesn’t intend on getting it either. He had the television on in the car and heard it there for the first time he thinks.

Declan says the pubs cant afford SKY Sports because they’re on their knees, so you’ll have lads setting up charging people to see the matches.

Declan says if you bring young chaps to pubs you’ll have to buy them chips and sandwiches, and the pubs won’t even have these things. The pubs have no money, so why would they want people coming into the pubs.

Correction: The Sky Sports. They can’t afford the Sky Sports.

Finbar has a son in Melbourne, he’s on the mobile, and he thinks the GAA should rebrand themselves the Grab All Association.

Jimmy, who has a son in Melbourne, shows his razor sharp wit. “I propose that the GAA should re-name itself the Grab All Association.”

“Events for junkies”

Finbar, Finbar, believes, his son in Melbourne has no more right to watch a game, than some lad in Belmullet. Apparently you can’t get the Sky Sports in Belmullet.

The SKY will make a milluin a game apparently.
