I’m reminded of the 1981 tie between these two in the European Cup Semi Final the second leg of which I saw on Sportsnight in Auntie Maura’s
0-0 after the first leg in Anfield, Liverpool drew 1-1 in Munich to go through to the final.
I remember listening to it on bbc radio. A late equaliser I think.
