Liverpool didn’t even bother with the FA Cup when they were in their pomp. They lost to Brighton & Hove Albion in 1983 & 84 and were victims of a huge giant killing upset in 1982 when they lost to second division Chelsea.
The same way they haven’t bothered with the league since around the same period?

Bit rich for a Manchester City super fan to be sniffy about Liverpool’s recent record in the FA Cup. Manchester City were knocked out by third tier Wigan Athletic last season and lost an FA Cup Final to Wigan Athletic in 2013.
