Liverpool 2018/2019

Have you looked outside recently? I cut the lawn there at the weekend.

He wasn’t sacked.

He effectively was. It wasn’t his decision to leave

If this was a rugby match, and it’s not far away from being one, Gerry Thornley would be describing it as “being like kissing your sister”.

He wasn’t.

Really? Wigan Athletic were relegated that season. The Manchester City owners were so shamed at losing an FA Cup Final to a side on the cusp of relegation, they fired the manager Roberto Mancini two days after the FA Cup final defeat on the Monday and appointed Brian Kidd to oversee the last two league games.

What would you call it if it wasn’t his decision to leave?

I believe a number of posters were there to witness that day.

Are you now suggesting City threw a cup final? You are kind of all over the place here man. Are you actively defending Liverpool’s decision to throw a cup?

I suppose the small clubs have to look out for one another

That pre-dated your arrival on this forum by nearly five years. You’ve been reading back over FA Cup threads from 2013?

That’s a matter for Liverpool Football Club.

Keita is some donkey.

It was a wonderful occasion, a day where reputations counted for little as Wigan stepped onto Neutral territory to battle a so called superior opponent.

That is the beauty of this competition. On any given day the underdog can have its day.

By God what a day it was. I miss @rudi
