Liverpool 2018/2019

Resurgent Man U still keeping the pressure on Liverpool though. They’ve cut the gap to 15 points.

Leicester are 17/2 to win this game.

CHAAAAAARGE.

Keita cheated of a penalty there.

If Liverpool are going to win this title we’re going to have to beat the officials too.

Dissapointing result from the redmen, only 5 points ahead

A draw… From a side that over the 90 odd minutes included Shaquiri, Keita, Lallana, Firminho, Salah and Sturridge none of whom deserve the fat weekly wage they are on based on that insipid performance. How bad is that?.

Their problem appears to me to be the lack of a midfielder of the like of Hazard who’s brain and vision exceeds the combined accumulative of the above-mentioned collective of bluffers.

A lad like Coutinho would be the missing piece I’d reckon

Keita has been shite since he came in.

Amazing Liverpool are top, theyve been awful for the last few months.

It’s a very poor league tbf.

Thought Keita was actually a little better tonight than before, his success comes from running at teams and it nearly paid off when they should’ve got a pelanty.

It doesn’t owe you anything anyway

Very surprised Firmino was substituted. He was easily our biggest threat.

All set up now for talk of a ‘choke’ — which it wont be if they are over taken. Any other year Liverpool would be 10 points clear with their current tally but it is what it is. City are a phenomenal team. The voyeurs are frothing at the mouth only dying for Liverpool fuck up.

No need to get so chippy.

Chelsea won the title 2 seasons ago with 93 points. That would mean Liverpool would be allowed a maximum of 10 dropped points in their remaining 14 games to match that.

City won the title last season with 100 points. That means Liverpool are allowed a maximum of 3 dropped points until the season end to match that.

They have got themselves in a good position, it’s now we will see if they are chokers are not.

City were 13 points clear at this stage last season. And Chelsea were 10 points clear at this stage the year they won it … So my point stands … unlike other seasons, the standard is relentless… I dont get chippy over soccerball - I leave that to the obsessives.

City will be behind Spurs on Saturday night if Spurs beat Newcastle. Spurs just need to keep in touch with Liverpool until we go to Anfield on 16 March.

So?

This year you’ve entered the title race and will have to put up a similar title winning points total to win it.

Have Liverpool the mettle for it? We will see but right now they are in the pole position. This is when it matters.

Compared to last season Firminho and Salah have been pale shadows of themselves. Salah was especially poor last night. Lucky to get away with a point. If they are to do it, it looks like it’s going to be a long slog.

One nil up coming up to half time. What the absolute fuck was Robertson doing so far inside the Leicester half. He loses the ball, runs all the way back and gives the foul away. Lucas levels of fuckwittery.
