FFS sake

Christ!

Never really threatened.

Never looked like breaking them down and absolutely criminal defending from set pieces. Villa well set up infairness.

Watched the first half, saw enough. Lot of young players still bedding in, but no tempo today. Lambert has the beatings of Rodgers.

Yeah - agree with that. Serious question marks over Rodgers and his team as defensive coaches. Particularly in comparison to Rafa who was excellent for the most part.

Poor goal defensively but the pathetic efforts to break the opposition down were by far the most worrying. Also Balotelli’s efforts were not encouraging.

Balotelli is poison.
Villa one up

Liverpool with all the possession but not creating much.

Liverpool 290 completed passes versus Villa 73

Villa should be down to 10 after kick on Mario off the ball by Senderos.
Fair play,ye won the passing

Stevie Gerrards successor has been anointed.

Arise Jordan Henderson, the new Liverpool vice captain.

Lallana is a signing of the Torben Picnic (sp)/ Istvan Kozma / Rob Jones / Paul Stewart/ Julian Dicks mould… Liverpool of the early 90’s are back

Rob Jones was a cracking right back.

Istvan Kozma rarely played and cost next to nothing.

Rodgers panic buys over the Summer are similar to Souness in that era, Lallana and Ballotelli will prove to be disasters, both are overrated one trick ponies like all of the above.
Liverpool are going backwards, Rodgers will be gone before end of the season

It’s all falling apart for Rodgers and Liverpool.

It goes from bad to worse.

2-0 to the hammers after 6 minutes

Gerrard is done…
