Heâll bottle the champions league as well
City lacking a 50 million signing in January like Liverpool to come off the bench. Looks pivotal.
Jesus just seeing Joel won PL player of the month. Must be one of the best free signings of the modern era?
They canât handle our tradition lads. Murdering bastards
As a young lad Iâm remember absolutely hating the likes of Henry, viera, lampard and terry. Like I genuinely couldnât stand them. Id actively follow all their results and desperately hope theyâd lose every game.
This Man City team are even more dominant but who do you hate ? They are completely soulless. At least with the earlier versions youâd kompany and augero but now itâs just a random selection of silvas and any number of expensively bought players. They are so incredibly boring. They are basically the soccer version of Dubai. Expensively assembled but just lacking something.
Him and Jimmy Milner two sensational freebies. More Mike Gordon magic
You donât hate them because they prevent Liverpool from winning multiple leagues. You donât like to admit it bit theyâre your second team now, a sign of how far Utd have fallen.
But whatâs to hate about them? They are just rotating players in and out every season. There is no real figures of hate like a terry or lampard that you usually associate with a great a team.
Your silva was meant to be sold in summer and knows heâs one of their best players. Torres was sold to Barcelona and he was a good player. You wouldnât notice.
They are so incredibly sterile or something.
Itâs always more amusing to see Liverpool beaten but thatâs mainly down to the carry on off their fans. I donât personally know any Man City fans. I severely doubt they are easy to wind up as Liverpool anyway.
Foden and graylish are as far from boring as youâd ever get. KW also.
Sure grealish is at best a bit part player there. Guardiola sucks the character out of players.
Thereâs a fair few unlikeable lads in that team, theyâve a few lads with bite alright. Bernardo is an awful case, but one that youâd love if he was on your team. Walker, Foden, Grealish are all unlikeable enough. Not to mind what the club now is rooted on. Very few want to see the fuckers win. I think this City Liverpool rivalry could surpass any PL rivalry weâve seen, which the United lads are quite afraid of
Theyâre probably the two greatest teams the EPL has ever seen
Have Man City v Liverpool ever played a memorable league game?
It isnât even really a rivalry. Man City are forever changing.
Theyâve elevated the League to requiring a near perfect record to win it. A draw for City and Liverpool these days is like a loss was for League challengers ten years ago
The 4-3 is one of the most iconic PL games of all time, it kickstarted the Klopp-Guardiola rivalry. Without that, City would have had a strong chance to go invincible. Then the title race game in 2019 where Sane got the winner and the goal line clearance was a very memorable game. The one in Anfield that year wasnât in fairness. The year after, Liverpools 3-1 win was massive, with the controversial referee calls. Liverpool racing into a quick 2-0 lead. It really ignited Liverpoolâs title triumph. This yearâs game was quite memorable. 2-2 with all second half goals, including Salahâs stunner. This one in April is and will be one of the most anticipated of all time
Didnât city win the league by 13 points last year and Iâm not sure Liverpool even finished second?
The previous season Liverpool won the league by 20 points? So that doesnât really stack up?
I donât recall any of those games tbh. I donât really ever recall Man City being involved in a memorable game since Kompany scored the winner against man united in 2012.
Chelsea v Liverpool was a big game in 2014 tbf. After that itâs been slim pickings in my opinion.
A series of the highest quality Premier League games thereâs ever been.
I donât think this Man City side will be remembered at all.
Theyâll be remembered more for their melt downs in Europe than any of the records theyâve set.
