Liverpool FC 2021/22

Nothing compares to that feeling of deep pride and satisfaction an Irish man gets when the English team he decided to support as a child beats the other team he could have decided to support.

Theyā€™ve been successful in living inside your head for the past 10 years or so anyway

The king of the step over

Ah yeah yeah.

Didnā€™t Liverpool finish above United in 2001/2002? Second behind Arsenal? Then the shit signings really began to come.

Yeah second on 80 points. A very open title race with Newcastle near the top until Arsenal went on a relentless winning run in the final months. Liverpool started the following season with 12 or so unbeaten but then went almost 3 months without winning a league game. Signing Diouf instead of Anelka certainly didnā€™t help alright.

Why do the Man U fans on here claim thereā€™s an asterisk after the Liverpool title win of 2019/20?

Iā€™ve put 35 notes on the draw.

PEDs

Looks like titles won by Rio Ferdinand will need to be asterisked.

Covid, no crowds much the same as the jibes thrown here over the championship

They think because of the league stopping in March 2020 for 3 months due to the global pandemic that thereā€™s an asterisk. Of course that viewpoint doesnā€™t take into account that Liverpool won the title with 7 games to spare and their points tally before the break in play was enough to win it anyway.

Remember they were creaming themselves at the hope the season would be declared void.

Itā€™s sad to see fans of a club like Manchester Red Devils be reduced to supporting Manchester City.

Thatā€™s very weak from the Man U fans. The lack of quality in their sledging mirrors what their team are producing on the pitch.

What do we reckon lads? 6-0? I feel a big score line coming.

Nah 1-0 to Liverpool with United parking the bus in front of goal.

With Phil Jones?!! :joy:

United are shit. Liverpool will bate the bollox off em
