Dangerous thing to do, could possibly lose all momentum. Drive on ta fook and do the double.

May surpass the 2005 CL semi-final in terms of atmosphere[/quote]

that will be epic
Arse will rest 5 or 6 with Bayern coming up.
put out a strong team and beat Arsenal in the hope they then implode
Indeed… I still want Suarez rested, on a diet of raw steak and on an over dose of porn while keeping him away from the wife for the next couple of weeks- He will easily eclipse 40 goals for the season.
Last night was the night WE won the league
He is already mad as it is. We don’t want him flipping out again.
Smug obnoxious Liverpool supporters doing their best to fill the void left by smug obnoxious Utd supporters I see.
Two sides of the same coin as far as all genuine connoisseurs of the game are concerned.

How can 5 European Cups versus 3 be the same coin?

We are playing the best football of any team in the world at the moment. Football for the connoisseur. We have the finest quality ingredients and our head chef Brendan is serving up a very tasty meal, indeed.

Another hurdle cleared. Woof!

Some of us here have consistently predicted Liverpool would win the league since before the start of the season, you know.
MBB, RUNT AND JULIO SUCK HAMMER.
This made me cry with pure emotion-
More pressure. The Reds doing ugly. Doing it well enough?
They look more likely. Begin rationalisation. We haven’t lost ground. Terrible decision on Coutinho. Aspas going spare behind the manager. Go ed, Iago. Start him Sunday. Start him.
Penalty.
He’ll score. No demons. Not now. No doubt. Walk. Around. Him.
And Liverpool see it out. Come from behind away from home. Grind it. Pressure. Win when not playing well.
But rewind. Walk around him. Look at him. Wheeling away. Shirt in his hand, screaming, a football team descending on him, a city collapsing in on him, his shoulders broad a thousand times over, broad again.
Walk around him.
Look at him.
I dare you to look at him. Demons. Naysayers. Look at him. Battle for fourth is it? His jersey a circular blur. Just about getting back into the CL is it?
Let’s be clear. 4th place this campaign would be a significant achievement for the football club. One which should be applauded and welcomed. Everyone walks away head held high. We know that.
But he’s walked among the stars. You dream of it, he’s done it. Everything you can in club football. He’s done 4th, he’s done 3rd and he’s done 2nd.
Look at him and tell me this isn’t about 1st. Look at him go. Our Atlas. Look at him go.
Look me in the eye and tell me you don’t think of first. Look me in the eye.
Support.
Believe.
A joy.
Good to see Liverpool fans aren’t getting carried away by a win over Fulham.
No one getting carried away, mate… Bit of banter and jovial spirt. Things have been dark the last few years and to have the season that is currently unfolding was beyond expectation. The reality is there are still only 3 points (4 with goal difference) between Liverpool and 5th place with a lot of football to play. There are going to be more twists and turns yet but let us blow off a bit of steam… When was the last time Liverpool were 4 points off the top in Feb and sitting 11 ahead of utd? I said two weeks back that I think it will be Chelsea, Liverpool, City…That would be a magnificant acheivement for Brendan if it finished that way. I’m giddy, but grounded.
Liverpool to win the League is longer odds than Dublin to win 2014 Hurling Championship
It is 50 years since Bill Shankly won the First Division title for the first time. Brendan winning a title this season would be as great an achievement in my eyes. I still think City will win it given the depth of squad they have
