Liverpool Football Club 2017/18

Weā€™ll win the Champions League pal

Book marked :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

You have to back yourself on here or you will be eaten alive.

Nonsense. Rodgers was backed but couldnā€™t attract the best players. He admitted himself he got Gerrard to chat to potential signings. Sanchez went to Arsenal instead of Liverpool because of London. Heā€™s happy to move north now. Klopp on the other hand has been able to attract VVD and Ox ahead of Chelsea and City and Keita is a big coup also.

How long was he managing United before he won silverware?

Bit rich from an arsenal fan. Hows the Europa league?

Come again.

Throw up some outlandish claims Iā€™ve made recently in relation to AFC, pal.

Huh? Just pointing out that arsenal have no skin in the CL

Reads like waffle, pal.

What best players has Klopp attracted?

By and large they have been relatively unproven players who he has paid a premium for.

Sanchez is happy to move Northy because City will pay him 400k a week.

VVD and Ox are unproven at the highest level, likewise Keita.

Will you have some respect for yourself for the love of god

KOKs 12 months ago (on Liverpool being off the pace) - ā€œThe reason Liverpool canā€™t compete is because they canā€™t sign the top players and compete financially with the likes of City, United, Arsenal and Chelsea.ā€

KOKs today (on Liverpool being off the pace) - ā€œKlopp is doing an unreal job as he is able to get in top class playersā€

Since Benitez left Liverpool have been unable to attract players that were coveted by the likes of Chelsea, Man Utd and City. Chelsea wanted Ox, Chelsea and City wanted Van Dijk. They both chose Liverpool because of Klopp. Sanchez chose Arsenal ahead of Liverpool. All things being equal would he make the same choice now?

Christ on a bike.

The reason ā€œOxā€ moved was apparently down to Chelsea seeing him as a wing back and Liverpool promising using him as a central midfielder. Van Dijk didnā€™t move to City or Chelsea because they didnā€™t want him that much. The difference between this now is that the board are really backing their manager and Klopp is very lucky to have that kind of faith and trust behind him, Iā€™m not sure itā€™s at all merited though.

Would Sanchez make the same choice now?

Why wouldnā€™t he? Heā€™s not moving to Liverpool now. It looks like heā€™ll be off to one of the two richest clubs in Europe at present (PSG or City) and if itā€™s City he will likely become the highest paid player in the league.

Apart from the merits of the Skoda shitcan on bog roads in Tipperary you know fuck all. Head off to the ā€œask harryā€ thread like a good lad.

Is that it, mate.

Hindsight & waffleā€¦

Irrelevant, Liverpool managed to get two players that were wanted by Chelsea and Man City, something that would have been unheard of during Rodgers era. If Liverpool and Arsenal and were to go for the same player in this transfer window it is likely that they would choose Liverpool and that is partly down to Klopp and partly down to the shambles that Wenger has turned Arsenal in to.

Yep Iā€™ve stooped to your level in the hope you get the hint.
