Liverpool football Club 2019/20 - Champions

Someone should have gone for a longer run this morning.

They never would have had the chance thanks to Liverpool fans murdering the juventus fans.

They would never have had the chance to win a European Cup due to finishes of 11th, 11th and 13th in three of Ferguson’s first four seasons.

It was dreadfully unfair.

Liverpool would have 8 or 9 European cups now if the Juventus fans didnt crush and kill their own fans.

English clubs weren’t allowed in the European cup thanks to the Liverpool fans murdering juventus fans. They had no chance.

He would have had to won the league to actually qualify, so whether or not the clubs were banned has absolutely fuck all to do with him not being able to win the European cup in his first 4 years there. The teams who missed out were Liverpool 3 times, Everton and Arsenal.

You also forget that the first time Man Utd qualified for Europe under Ferguson, they won the Cup Winners cup in 1991. Utd missed out on one European spot in 88/89 in the Uefa cup. The only time in his first 4 years in charge they finished in the top 10 which was second place.

A perfect summing up of a typical Manchester City Champions League campaign.

Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge of an English club between 86 to 90. For those four years English clubs were banned thanks to Liverpool fans murdering innocent juventus fans. It was impossible for him to win it.

By not actually winning the league, it was impossible for them to win it.

Besides the fact that there was no Sir Alex Ferguson from 86 to 90.

They were banned from the competition since the start of previous season. It would completely change the Complexion of the league if they were allowed into Europe. We have seen in the past when sides like Liverpool fail to qualify for the champions league all their good players try and leave. Same will happen with city if their ban is up held. It was impossible for sir Alex to win a European cup between 86 and 90 thanks to Liverpool fans murdering juventus fans. It’s a fact.

Are people seriously saying that a team with Russell Beardsmore, Mal Donaghy, Billy Garton, Mike Phelan, Neil Webb, Ralph Milne, Danny Wallace and Peter Davenport in it wouldn’t have beaten that Milan team of Gullit, van Basten, Rijkaard and Baresi?

Bob Paisleys record was absolutely phenomenal @anon61878697

He failed miserably on the big stage. He was a great domestic manager but that was more down to financial clout than any actual managerial skill. He was constantly found out in Europe against inferior teams. Monaco, Porto, Dortmund, Leverkusen. Superior teams made an absolute show of him.

Between 86 and 2013 no English club won more champion leagues than him During that period. No English club got to more finals and he won more premier leagues than any other club. He was some failure alright.

You’re just being disingenuous for the sake of it. He won 2 European Cups when the standard of European football was far superior. That Juventus team he beat in the semi final would win 5 in a row now

The Barcelona side in 09 were sensational.

Juventus are not European royalty, if they are then so are Nottingham Forest.

The kult is strong with this one
