And then big Darwin does what Paul Gascoigne did for England’s third goal against Holland at Euro '96. But instead of making the necessary pass to Sheringham to slip it into the path of Shearer to finish it, he cut out the middle man and passed straight to Shearer, thereby preventing the goal being scored.
