They spend minimum 50m to 60m on dud full backs and centre backs. Throw them out in a year or two and get another few in.
Transfers come under capital expenditure while wages come under current expenditure so wages should be excluded from any comparison between the two player fees. Man City’s record revenues are easily covering Haaland’s wages.
