Wow another £50m spent by big spending Liverpool. Must be very close to a billion spent by Klopp at this stage. Very difficult for other clubs to compete with that sort of spending.

I’m half cut here but that Gakpo was unreal at the World Cup from what I remember. Man United were mad after him too. He was supposed to be the CR7 replacement? He’ll come in handy if he can slot into CM too. Although with Bacjetic and Bellingham now we’re sorted in midfield for the next 15 years.

That’s the lengths clubs like Liverpool have to go to in order to compete with oil money… Newcastle have spent more than any club in Europe over the last couple of years and sit second. City can pay Haaland a million a game. Liverpool have to sell players and work around the clock to get deals done.
