Den Haag got rid of three of the four big time Charlies. You could see the psychological difference it made to the rest of the Manchester United players without them and that, in their manager’s words, they fuckin’ could play football.
But Liverpool played right into their hands and the high line was ripped to pieces when faced with three attackers who were mad for it, and protected by a paper thin midfield.
