Klopp didnt want any new midfielders after carvalho. He has at least 8 first team midfielders and he only plays 3 in there. He identified up front as his area for strengthening. Its mad that the Tipperpool fans dont believe in him after him conquering some worlds for them.

Let the man utd boys enjoy their win, it’s much deserved. Liverpool were outfought and outrun everywhere last night. That was the difference… However, Fulham and to a lesser degree Palace did the same. Ive no doubt Nunez will make a difference… It’s very easy pin salah and Diaz wide when you’ve no proper forward making runs behind/ in the channel.
I maintained before the season started it would be a down season, i thought maybe Milner and Bobby might have been moved on and a midfielder brought in but the right man wasn’t available for the right price. Klopp has hinted recently that there’s no major funds for an incoming player, that might change now. But there’s also no getting away from how good the MF are with Fab and Thiago in there.
I think the efforts of the last few years have caught up with some of the senior boys, it’s been a long 4/5 years. Klopp is building again, just not as quick as the average fan would like. But Trent/Robbo/ vvd all look tired. Milly and Hendo look done. Bobby is somewhere in the middle… He’s just back from injury so he gets an out on last night.
Jota will also offer a much needed scoring threat… But team’s know they just need to sit with 10 behind the ball now because the player’s and legs are no longer there to break them down.
