Liverpool Football Club 2022/23

Who’ll be sold to generate cash? Naby looks a cert but his injuries means he’ll probably go for 20-25m

Naby won’t be sold. He will run (he mightn’t be doing much running for a while) down his contract and I can’t see if being renewed.

Pretty much do what Gini did.

Selling Neco lad and the likes are the only way to generate cash. Naby and Ox are injury prone and near the end of the contract.

What was Van Disney at for the first goal standing there like an idiot? John Terry or Richard Dunne woukd have threw themselves in front of Sancho to try get a block.

How is he still there?

yes, it went from the best defender in the world to lacking the mindset & intensity of a defender very quickly yesterday

Same last week for Zaha’s goal. He could easily have slid across to attempt to get a block in. Not officer class

Real Madrids goal in the champions league final too

And Gini basically wasn’t replaced at all. Thiago the only actual cm we’ve signed in the last 4 years.

Man Utd/anti-Glazers footix would do well to remember their last Champions League winning campaign 15 years ago. They started that 07/08 season very slowly with a couple of draws and a defeat just like this Liverpool team. Unfortunately there’s less room for error these days with Man City regularly churning out 95 point+ seasons.

mixed messages there mate - be warned of what happened 15 years ago & football has changed since then?

Looks like Liverpool fans have completely turned against klopp on social media. Very fickle

eh, you are replying to the most fickle liverpool fan of them all mate

Makes it even stranger that klopp spent 200 million plus on jota, Diaz and Nunez while completely ignoring the mid field.

Thiago doesn’t really suit his system. He’s on huge wages and was a known crock.

It’s even better than that mate. Transfer market says we’ve only got a net spend of £4.59 million this summer. Serious going to bring in one of Europes top young strikers, the SPL young player of the year (a savage league according to lads on here) and a top top talent like Fabio from Fulham for such a meagre net spend.

It’s a pity Liverpool can’t actually play net spend right back as he’d surely be more useful than Trent.
