Despite a couple of fairly decent performances it’s been an awful start to the season. The more I hear Rodgers talking the more I think he’s just a smooth media operator who knows exactly what to say to distract fans from the awful results and the fact that he’s extremely lucky to be in the job.
To be fair to Rodgers he needs time to turn things around after the mess Daglish made of the club-that squad is piss poor to put it kindly and you can’t blame Rodgers for that.
It’s too soon to judge him. Two points from a possible fifteen is of course, pathetic, but they’ve played City, Man Utd, and Arsenal in that time. The next five are against Norwich, Stoke, Reading, Everton, and Newcastle. If he only picks up another two in that run he obviously will be sacked.
will they pick up more than 6 points in them 5 games :strokechin:
i dont think so…not the way they are playing at the mo
There you go Faldo.
Norwich 1
Stoke 1
Reading 3
Everton 0
Newcastle 1
Yes put that rate would probably keep us up which would be fine. We at Liverpool football club are realistic about this project.

+1. Today was not the day for that type of thuggish behaviour. Ranting at Sir Alex on the way off just showed his lack of class[/quote]
Retard eile
Damn right art-Shelvey looked a right retard today.
Not the right thread but :o

I saw that earlier but can’t quite figure out what or who it is aimed at.
Unfortunately it’s just a reply to his daughter who tweeted his wife earlier “When are you too old to divorce your parents?” It’s just banter but it did look intriguing.

FAO Farmer-
You dont get the performance of Robinson-Assaidi and Sahin from this but here’s the highlights.
It’s only 3rd league cup, but delighted for Brendan and you can see the young players are taking to his tactics- better than some of the older lads.
Lukaku is a beast of a player and is going to be a sensation in the coming years.

Racist
Dont be such a nagger!
Did you watch the final episode of The Sopranos last night on Sky Atlantic? What a show-reopened the well was he killed debate again last night. Excellent stuff.
I watched all 6 seasons again over the summer- phenomenal tv! I think he was hit alright, but dead??
Now what has this to do with Liverpool Football Club?
He was definitely killed.
I disagree-maybe that’s just the optimist in me though. I really would like to get to know Meadow a bit better though.
True-apologies Paulie. Although you could use it as a metaphor-a once great powerful instituition but what the future holds, nobody knows for sure.
