Liverpool Football Club Season 2012/13

what are his gga roots? he played a few times as a child ? got out before he was raped

The appointment of a top, top man like Brendan Rodgers will cause me to reassess my whole outlook on Liverpool FC. I think my desire for Brendan to be an overwhelming success will be greater than my heretofore dislike of his new employers. The new age football follower, led by those in the Far East and me, support personalities rather than teams.

Welcome aboard, mate.

I, and Liverpool football fans worldwide, look forward to your musings over the coming season(s)

Thanks for the welcome pal. Justice for the 96.

Justice for the 33.

Sick stuff that you consider the deaths of four Belgians, a Frenchman, and worst of all, an Irishman to be unworthy of mention.

Sick stuff that Liverpool fans would murder 33 Italians. Brendan Rodgers can get fucked in any case - Norn Iron fan and Orangepool manager.

I’d step away from the keyboard if I was you, mate.

Thanks for the memories Dirk

Indeed. A great servant but a fairly horrible footballer. Happy to see him go as part of the rebuilding exercise.

Being reported that the decision was his and that the Club wanted him to stay.

I can confirm that there is an ‘exceptionally exciting’ summer ahead for Liverpool Football club and its supporters.

We will see what Buck is made of pretty soon…what a start

Liverpool closing in on Gylfi [color="#000000"]Sigurdsson according to the reliable Echo.

[color="#000000"]Gaston Ramirez from Bologna also being linked. Inter and Man City also interested but Liverpool have a chance of getting him as he is a Uruguayan and thus compatriots of Suarez and Coates. Totti, is he any good?

Ramirez is an excellent talent, not sure how well suited he is to British football yet however. He needs to develop his upper body strength and how he will be deployed is very important. He shouldn’t be used on the wing as he’s a player who relies on intelligence rather than speed. He has a lovely languid style of ruining and is very intelligent in his movement and decision making but a player of his ilk thrives in a more tactical atmosphere. The in-your-face tempo of the EPL may not be to his liking or at the very least will take some adapting to. I do believe he’s going to be a great player but he could be one that would struggle with the physicality or tempo of the EPL just yet. It’s not that I question his ability to handle the knocks or close attention he may receive but more to do with the lack of time he will have on the ball, everything is rushed in the EPL, Ramirez is a player who likes to slow it down, then use his speed of thought or initial acceleration to punish teams.

Tottenham gazump Liverpool to sign Sigurdsson

The London club have agreed an £8m fee for the Hoffenheim midfielder, who is likely to be confirmed as a Spurs player this week after turning his back on a move to Anfield

The Londoners have agreed an £8 million transfer fee with the German club and personal terms with the 22-year-old after making their move last week.

Goal.com understands Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers was furious to learn over the weekend that Sigurdsson had chosen to move to White Hart Lane despite holding extensive talks with the Reds.

The Iceland international worked with Rodgers during a highly successful loan spell at Swansea last season, scoring seven goals in 19 appearances, and the Ulsterman was keen to re-unite with the player at Anfield.

But Sigurdsson has decided to join Spurs, despite the fact that they have no manager following the decision to sack Harry Redknapp earlier this month.

Former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas and France coach Laurent Blanc are the leading contenders as they step up their search this week.

The deal for Sigurdsson is in its final stages and likely to be confirmed before the weekend as Tottenham plan to mount a challenge for a top four finish next season.

Hoffenheim had given Sigurdsson leave until June 30 to sort out his future after he stalled over a £6.8m switch to Swansea when Rodgers resigned to take over on Merseyside.

The former Reading man is seen as a useful addition to the squad to compete with Rafael Van der Vaart for an attacking midfield role, especially with playmaker Luka Modric almost certain to be sold this summer.

Goal.com are spoofers.

Takes one to know one, you cunt :guns:

Been hearing that since yesterday, no reliable source though. Worrying if true, as Liverpool were supposed to have had this almost done, and were ‘gazumped’ last summer for most of their top targets. If it is true, lets hope it is because they have someone else lined up, like Belhanda.
