Sir Brendan revealed today how he told Siggy to fuck right off! He was privvy to what Siggy was going to be offered at Swansea and said that his move to Spurs was all about the money and not football. 
[font=georgia]"He and I both sat and spoke and believed that playing football was going to be the most important aspect for him. But obviously it was important financially so we agreed a deal for him to go to Swansea and that was wrapped up.
"I then became the Liverpool manager, and that then wasn’t something that was going to happen at Swansea. So he then had a choice of where he wanted to go. I knew what the market was and I wasn’t prepared to pay anything over what I had known was agreed before.[/font]

Dear Reds, I am leaving Liverpool FC today.
Before signing for LFC, I just saw the club as one of the greatest institutions in football. After my time here I can confirm that this is not just a great club but also a great family.
I have tried to give everything every day that I was wearing the LFC crest. It has been a great honour to defend this shirt during two and a half years. I am returning home with a suitcase full of great memories, good friends within the team and also within this great family that works every day in the club. Thanks a lot for your support. You can NOT imagine what a great honour it was for me when the Kop sang, ‘Maxi, Maxi Rodríguez runs down the wing for me da da da da dada…’

Swansea’s Joe Allen being heavily linked with Liverpool today. I believe Mr Totti is a big fan of his
I thought Brendan agreed not to raid his former club for a year? Allen would have to force the move of true .
I think the agreement is if another club makes an approach for any of the Swansea players then Rodgers is entitled to make a bid
