Your mano with the shoes in the first one!! My word… The rest look like special needs victims, which they probably are.

There’s nothing, absolutely nothing, wrong with a grown man wearing a full kit. Nothing.

Rumours that Carroll has agreed personal terms with Newcastle, all that’s needed now is an agreement on the price. Anything over 16 should be snapped at. Dempseys move is close as well allegedly. Although that’s been said for weeks now.
Adam, Spearing, Pacheco, and maybe Downing could be gone by Friday (fingers crossed). Sturridge would be a good signing and with Theo turning down his Arsenal contract today, I’d take him too.

Welcome home TRE !

I have seen figures of toward 20 million being thrown around for Sturridge. Crazy shit.

Newcastle offering 14million, we want 17. Call it 16 and shake to fuck. Sturridge will be bought cheaper then that surely. Walcott could be a good one though as he wants game time and he’ll get more of that at Liverpool then City. He’ll surely be shown the door by Arsene though irregardless after refusing the contract.

Surely we have had our fill of overpriced English players, of which Sturridge and Walcott would be two more.

If Liverpool had taken Sturridge in the Torres deal. Say 40 million with it. Then go to Newcastle with a bid for Tiote and not Carroll. Would have got him for 15 or 20 million easy which would have left another 20 million at least. Hindsight is a wonderful thing though.

I don’t rate Walcott. He is way too inconsistent and not worth the 100k a week he is looking for. This is the avenue we went down last year and it was a disaster. Sturridge can fuck right off too unless It’s for 2m or something. I’d take Dempsey over either one, and that’s saying a lot.

No to Walcott.

The only thing about Theo is that he could be picked up relatively cheap though. I think he’d fit in well with this quick passing system of Rodgers too as he’s basically been rared on it at Arsenal and he’d give us that bit of pace we lack down the right hand side. He could also be a complete flop like the rest of the English signings.

Who would buy Downing? O’Neill would have been likely but he has brought in Adam Johnson.

We’re fairly stuck with him. We’re banking in the likes of Stoke to take this shit off our plate but they can’t compete with the wages. Charlie Adam is linked with them tonight but the stumbling block will be wages no doubt.

I’m watching the 1996 game against Arsenal on the official channel. In fairness that team played some great football. 16 years later and that’s what we are trying to get back to. What we wouldn’t give for an up and coming Fowler !

Check out The Guardian website. They’re reporting that Rodgers is considering converting Downing into a left back and he has no future at the club as a wide midfield player / winger.

We could have him killed.

The only thing he should be kept for is as an example to the younger lads. An example of how their career will go if they don’t work hard.

One up through a deflected Macmanaman shot off Steve Bold.
