I’d never heard of a negroni until one of our new recruits requested one at the Christmas party and I kindly obliged. I’d assumed it was some hipster beer not a cocktail. As a Limerick roaster who makes a cocktail by adding TK red lemonade I was chastened by the cost of the negroni

I was watching Queen’s Gambit last night and the mother character orders a Gibson, which I’d never heard of before. A martini, but with an onion in it. 
A drink made for the father in law.
