Lockdown Drinking Thread - obsolete

A lady friend was getting the teeth done in newry - €58 a tray. The main thing is once surged the pint holds the head so it’s very pub like. Bit gimmicky but better than regular cans.

Good man. Every cloud and all that

I’m back on the regular Guinness cans now after a few bottles of peroni gran riserva. There’s no enjoyment in drinking at home, alone.

None.

In taste or look?

Texture. The first draw through the head is great and then every Sup after that the same instead of pure Guinny. Not as fresh as a draught pint obviously

You don’t need surger cans.

Look at the state of it before he uses the contraption…

A gimmick as @Spidey says.

So it’s the equivalent of hitting your pint a belt with another pint

At the new Spurs stadium they have an even better gimmick

It’s like hopping your Heineken off the table to get a flush and a head BUT the head stays on the surger and you drink your drink through the solid head. Daycent

Pint looks a bit better here, god knows what it tastes like though.

Edit: you mightn’t be able to get into link.

Once you have the cans and glass cold it’s decent very pint like. The head stays all the way and if you swirl it every Sup goes through the head. I’ve tasted worse pints out and about.

Handy can size glass tbf.

Irish stadiums have those too.

Which ones?

I’m not sure, but I definitely saw them in operation somewhere.

You wont admit it was Thomond Park you crafty divil.

Lovely drop of redbreast here and the rain hopping of the window beside me.
