Lockdown Drinking Thread - obsolete

Never a big fan my buddy only drinks it and the publican told me that when he had the tap taken out on my round

Limited choice in pubs, Carlsberg & Heineken not to my taste.

Guinness & Smithwicks during summer, no.

Cider, god bless anyone who drinks that piss ( acid ).

Whenever I would rarely be out, it’s maybe 5 or 6 beers and sip on Gin or Vodka thereafter. Old age showing…

A pint of Guinness is my limit, love the stuff but I get awful sick after more than 5. I drink spirits as of last year. Cider for full day drinking.
Larger on tap gives me horrific hangovers. Choice of taps dont bother me as it’s not a pub without Guinness. A snakey murphys in Cork is the job

Smithwicks is a grand refreshing drink if you can get a good cold pint of it. Hard to find though and without fucking fail it gives me the hiccups after more than 2 of them

You’d rarely see anyone drinking a pint of bud these days. Smithwicks would be my drink of choice also

Onle the scummy soccer crowd still dring budweiser

John Delaney hands out Carlsburg and they lap it up

Would you try a Coors.
I personally think it’s a weak watery beer you are right.
For the price of a pint you would want a better variety of choice.
Unfortunately town is the only spot for variety of beers.

Recently got 8 harp and was impressed.
I am currently changing beer all the time to try find the one.

Had a few cold bottles of lech recently I was surprised how refreshing it was.

Many people die of thirst but the Irish are born with one
