LOI season 2018

I thought Corry was going to come out with phrases like ā€œskill-set, ā€œgo forward ballā€ and ā€œfronting upā€ judging by his accent. He spoke a lot of sense to be fair and would seem to be a good addition.

Couldnā€™t believe Fabioā€™s attack on Bolger, even if it was justified. Can never remember a LOI pundit going after a player like that publically. It was extraordinary. Maybe Fabio was putting the boot into Rovers to stand up for his fellow RTE couch pundit Cawley after last weekā€¦

his budget would be no worse or better than bray- pats-bohs-sligo-limerick
waterford have a bigger budget so beating them was notable but theyā€™re smashed with suspensions
CCFC Dk and SRFC all have better budgets, they all beat Derry- so id say no he isnt really performing miracles at the moment

Shiels is a bit of a prick in all honesty, he loves a good moan over everything and anything. A lot of Derry fans have little time for him.

Mind you he has had a few little pops at Caulfield so heā€™s not all bad.

everything Cawley said was correct, he made the point about the keepers that was said here ad nauseum
now- Fabio commented about Gilschrist - well we covered that here also with the bizarre call to sell Dave Webter
Bolger was destroyed the other night tho, a rugby tackle towards the end was a personfication of where he was at, mouths off a lot also

Paul Corry, the Owl legend ?

Edit - hadnā€™t seen your confirmation a further couple of posts down

Bolger responds on twitter

OTB top class now
Stuey byrne/kilbane and Dan MacD

Dan down in Limerick , referred to the first half as a mismatch and non eventā€¦
things must be bleak lads

Heard Corry interviewed on LOI weekly postcast (might have been last year) and he came across very well.

A few new voices has to be a good thing

Dismal fare in the Markets Field.

A training session for Dundalk. Grabbed two early goals and hardly broke sweat after that. On a different level to Limerick. Duffy MOTM - he is a quality footballer.

Another appalling crowd, little more than 500 Iā€™d guess. The early season optimism has well and truly evaporated. The Super Blues are going down and the ironic thing is that Martin Russell will be the man to condemn us to our fate. Very difficult to see where the next goal or point will come from. The confidence of the players is on the floor. Bray will be above us in a matter of weeks.

Rovers supremo Bradley was an interested observer there tonight - if he canā€™t get three points on Friday night he should be sacked on the spot.

Clifford looks a good player whoā€™ll benefit from regular games while Cantwell was also industrious. Otherwise nothing positive.

Dire, dire, dire.

Rovers have reacted to their goalkeeping woes by agreeing a deal to bring back Alan Mannus from St Johnstone on July 1st.

Yesssssssss

Think there was talk before the season started

Super keeper

Cawley vindicated

A serious upgrade on their current keepers.

The drummer from Def Leppard would be an upgrade on their current goalkeepers.
