Long Live the king

That’s when the local undertakers got the call.

Claire Brock wound up Bruton something awful tonight.
She has a lovely way about her. Christ she landed a couple of awful jabs.

I somehow doubt “KNEECAP” saw much to object to when Gerry Adams protected his paedophile brother for years.

Glasgow Celtic was a bastion of support for Her Majesty in putting down that grubby secessionist attempt from that ghastly Alex Salmond in 2014. A host of former players came out in support of Her Majesty and the preservation of the Union - Billy McNeill, Bertie Auld, Murdo McLeod, Frank McAvennie, David Moyes, David Provan and Paddy Crerend.

The Pretend IRA IFSC brigade are badly out of tune here.

Ok Sidney

Mcavenie did?

Phillip came to me today,
and said it was time to go.
I looked at him and smiled,
as i whispered that “I know”

I then turned and looked behind me,
and seen I was asleep.
All my Family were around me,
and I could hear them weep.

I gently touched each shoulder,
with Phillip by my side.
Then I turned away and walked,
with My Angel guide.

Phillip held my hand,
as he lead the way,
to a world where King’s and Queens,
are Monarch’s every day.

I was given a crown to wear
or a Halo known by some.
The difference is up here,
they are worn by everyone.

I felt a sense of peace,
my reign had seen its end.
70 years I had served my Country,
as the peoples friend.

Thank you for the years,
for all your time and love.
Now I am one of two again,
in our Palace up above.

Not to mention former Chairman John Reid, UK Defence Secretary during the Iraq War.

It would be remiss not to extend condolences to Her Majesty’s subjects in the Commonwealth Realms. Condolences to @Fitzy, @Chucks_Nwoko and @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy.

This anchorman Huw Edwards on BBC has had a stormer. The occasional touch of Welsh lilt with the correct measurements of grief and gravitas.
I’m off to play a few blasts of Cerys Matthews for myself.

He sounded like it. That piece this evening on the news was of Cowan vintage.

I think the Queen’s funeral will be a great occasion. A quiet celebration of life, of her life and all the lives of everybody in these islands. It will be solemn yet joyous, full of justified British pride yet deeply inclusive of all those who reside on our islands and beyond.

A day for the people. I hope it’s held on a Saturday as Liverpool desperately need the next two league games postponed.

By playing Elizabeth my dear earlier reopened how good The Stone Roses first LP is.
Absolutely untouchable as a debut and still probably my favourite record of all time.

First four tracks are up there with the best ever but hard to beat Revolver from start to finish. New release of Revolver coming October 28th, stereo version with same technology used in recent Get Back doc.

Stone Roses was a time and a moment of that era. The video of the Blackpool gig was iconic
