I noticed that happening alot anytime I remember to do a quick pick… It’s deffo a strategy from the lotto owners.
Same chance of them numbers winning as any other isnt there? Lad who used to do it in our local shop used to have the numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6 every week - I reckon if he won he would be sharing it with a few people.
Yeah I noticed the same. Or they have 2 or 3 of the same numbers in both lines of a quick pick. I only ever do the lotto when there’s a massive jackpot so used to be not that often but I ended up doing it for weeks on end for a couple of months there with this current jackpot but stopped there a while ago after about 10 in a row of nothing. A mug’s game.

Possibly but it’s rare enough you’d see 31, 32, 33, 34 or the likes come out rather than a random spread of numbers… It’s definitely more prevalent now so there must be something in it.

Ticket sales must be plummeting. They’ve started an ad campaign emphasising that although nobody is winning the jackpot people are still winning smaller prizes. I’d say a lot of people are switching over to the euro millions.

Everyone who buys a ticket for each draw recently should be entered into a raffle for €1m. That’s not going to harm the books/brand negatively. Very slow to react crowd this shower. Winning €3 is as of an inconvenience as it is anything.

STILL waiting for our dosh. Cheque supposedly signed in hq but with covid, can’t simply collect. Needs to be posted.
Wtf? They can’t hand over a cheque with covid? But are happy to send 300 grand in the post? Sounds like bullshit.

I was playing online but after my account got to zero I decided I wasn’t going to top it up again. I know the odds in winning were always very high but it’s after getting a bit ridiculous now.
I’d say the volume of extra tickets sales at the start was huge but has but dropped off, it would be interesting to know how much extra money came in while the jackpot was capped.
Edit : And the next post after I say that is a picture of a big cheque from the Lotto.

It’s taken that long to come in, I’m nearly in the red before I get my portion of the Dosh! Hopefully Monday have my portion in my paw and we see what’s left of it!
