The Nidge character has become a parody outside of the show - radio shows, youtube etc. It diminishes enjoyment of the show and him as a character because it robs him of the menace you need to buy into - fine line between menace and comic relief with him now.

They need to be brave enough to kill him off which is maybe where it is going. the other problem they have is Ireland probably has a small enough pool of actors with the talent/experience required for the show so if you kill off your main characters you need available talent to slot into leading roles and carry the show

what the fuck was that aboutā€¦ he was crying, then he smiled and you think, right he has that out of the system, they cut away and do something else, then come back to Fran sitting in the van, just stopping crying again and the evil smile comes back againā€¦ for agesā€¦ then he takes off. Iā€™ve a snakey feeling they are after jumping the sharksā€¦

that little cunt sent over from Spain is a terrible actor too. No real presence. In saying that the last few minutes were excellentā€¦ Nidgey got a good hiding for himself.

id imagine that cunt with the beard hangs out with @Colin Montgomerie and @kenearlys in the 51 talking about Real Oviedo and listening to some B sides from a shit band like The National

is that a euphemism?

disappointing from an Epicurean like yourself palā€¦

Spot on mate.

I come from a law enforcement background and I donā€™t usually watch Love/Hate. However, I saw last nightā€™s episode and was bemused/dismayed by the close proximity of the cops when they were tracking criminals. Way, way too close and completely absurd that they werenā€™t noticed. Then you had the travellersā€™ surveillance set up and their close monitoring of everyone approaching the site yet they didnā€™t put any store on the copā€™s white van parking up across the road. Apologies for this over-analysis but I simply had to mention it.

That was poor alright. A white caddy van like that wouldnā€™t exactly be discreet and youā€™d imagine them lads would be on high alert for any vehicle following them. The bit were he pulled in just up from the road from Fran was particularly bad.

He was also worried about not having enough power in the van to keep up with Fran who was driving a fucking hiace.

Iā€™d love if Seat had booked some big bucks advertising for during the break.

Feel free to be a bland consumer of tv all you like, accepting all thats thrown at you, but thatā€™s no reason to chastise those of us who want more from a tv programme.

That was funny alright. That whole sequence was bizarre. Following Fran 20 yards behind him then pulling up 20 yards ahead of him then following him again and fretting that he couldnā€™t keep up with Franā€™s dinky van. It was all a bit odd.
